Carolina Paz is an artist interested in small and ordinary, soft things, full-bodied, light pieces of materiality, and smooth or repeated gestures. She investigates these relationships through paintings, videos, objects, and participatory projects. Her work has been presented nationally and internationally, in museums, galleries, and residencies such as the SPRING/BREAK Art Show, New York, NY; RAW POP UP, Miami, FL; Residency Unlimited, Brooklyn, NY; Virgilio Gallery, Baró Gallery, Zipper Gallery, São Paulo, Brazil; Goiania Art Museum, Goiania, Brazil; Cerveira Art Biennial Foundation, Cerveira, Portugal; National Museum Soares dos Reis, Porto, Portugal; Culture Centre Rector Ricardo Rojas, Buenos Aires, Argentina; among others. She is the recipient of the Funarte Visual Arts award. Her work is featured in the permanent collections of Rio de Janeiro Museum of Art, Luis Seoane Foundation, the Rio Grande do Sul Museum of Art, and Goiânia Museum of Art.

Carolina is the founder of Uncool Artist, created in Brooklyn in 2018, and the independent art space Coletivo 2e1, established in São Paulo in 2010. 

She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences in 1999 and a master’s degree in Media and Knowledge in 2003 from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York.

Dominique attended the University of California, Riverside, and received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science/International Affairs and Global Studies. Dominique transferred her focus towards art and design. She is most passionate about creative development, behavior, and discovery as well as exposing the beauty in this world. Dominique’s work has been featured on the walls of several hospitality design projects including Ivory on Sunset at the Mondrian Hotel and Hedley’s on Robertson Blvd in West Hollywood, California (c. 2015-2016). A selection of unique works on paper have recently been acquired by Soho House at Holloway House. She also completed a stage mural for their Warehouse Studio at Soho Warehouse (c. 2022).

Graduated in Visual Arts with emphasis on computer graphics – UTP (2013) and Postgraduate in Social History of Art – PUC/PR (2016). Mariana main investigative language is painting, articulating media, supports and techniques in works directly linked to digital communication tools. The artist explores scenic, allegorical and narrative resources seeking to provide a re-signification of data through appropriation and montage. With an interest in the materiality of the image, she develops objects, graphic studies and web projects. She is currently researching the relationship between art and affection in the insertion and placement of works online.
